    I got this at a local store yesterday. I wanted one like this since I was a little kid drooling over the pictures of Silvertones in the Sears Catalog. They were $199 then but I had to pay $600 for this one.Do you think it is worth it?

    think you'll ever find the lost knob ? Really, that thing belongs in a guitar museum.

      Well, seeing how $200 in 1965 is roughly equivalent to $1,500 today, I'd say you got a steal.  If it were mine I would buff out the scratches and polish the chrome of the pickups.  I'm not a Bigsby fan, but I'd polish that up, too ...

        Definitely worth it.  Those things have some serious mojo as evidenced in the vid.
