Members Roy Brooks
All things considered, I would pass on this particular one mainly because I would not buy a 1950s Gibson hollowbody on eBay. The ES-125T is not particularly rare and cleaner more original examples show up for sale from reputable dealers like Elderly Instruments and Action Music for around the same price or a little bit less. A non-original one, like the one this thread is about, might be considerably less. On this guitar either the entire pickup or the pickup cover has been changed. A 1959 ES-125T, as well as most ES-125Ts from the 1960s, have black P-90 covers. Only a very few ES-125s came stock with chrome covers in the mid to late 1960s. I am not seeing where the OP said he purchased this.Honestly, If you removed the "1" in the price....I still would have no interest.
