Members J Backlund
This is the second variation of the 1500, having a metal full face plate without the red tortoise plates, and round 'vent holes' rather than the elliptical holes of the first concept. No doubt too 'spacey' for most, but I like it, so there! This guitar is currently being built in the Netherlands as a personal prototype, though many cosmetic details are still undecided, this is the general idea. Members Buttcrust
does it have a AM/FM and a CD player too ?
Members jpnyc
Feels very Syd Mead Blade Runner to me. I think this one would make a nice bass; the oversized headstock would start to look like a crazy sci-fi spear or rifle.

Members JTV59
I've always enjoyed your designs but this one is way cool. If Line 6 would sell the Variax electronics as a kit, I'd seriously consider this guitar.
Members DaveAronow
That would be a really cool photo!
Members kayd_mon
Fins or not, it looks cool. I wish I could see one of your designs in person!
Members PurpleTrails
Looks really good to me. I think it wouldn't look as good without the fin, though it probably would be more practical to play. I agree with the folks who prefer the round holes to the elliptical...I think they mesh better visually with the control dials down below. The purple one looks like pure sex, but then again I'm kind of partial to purple.
