Members LGK_Dude Posted March 31, 2012 Members Share Posted March 31, 2012 The Avian Hawk HIP looks like a really cool guitar! http://www.avianguitars.com/hawk.htm However, being a new guitarist I simply don't understand how to judge a guitar by specs. I've tried searching for reviews on Avian Guitars, but all that comes up is a heavy metal band called Avian and a youtube on their condor bass. Nothing on their guitars. Anyone know anything about this guitar? Anyone know how it sounds or plays, or can make a guess based on the specs? Members RUExp? Posted April 1, 2012 Members Share Posted April 1, 2012 Never heard of them before. The woods are pretty typical for electrics and so are the specs. Nice folks with some very interesting ergonomics on the guitar designs (not to mention the cool look of the rivit'd amp enclosures), I was surprised that more people didn't stop by to check things out.
