Churko, of course, is the producer responsible for Ozzy's last two albums, Scream and Black Rain. Lee's new band, Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel, includes Ronnie Mancuso of Beggars & Thieves on bass and Black Betty's Jonas Fairley on drums. A lead vocalist has been chosen and a formal announcement is expected shortly.Lee has already recorded a few guest appearances for the forthcoming album: Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, Paul Di'Anno of Iron Maiden and Maria Brink of In This Moment.Tales From The Stage Volume 1 author Michael Toney has heard a few songs and he's pretty upbeat on the direction the music is taking."The two new tracks that I have heard are very impressive, and are incredibly fresh sounding

Members Kevman
Looking forward to hearing this. Love Badlands and his work with Ozzy. Even though when he was wirh Ozzy I was still mad that Randy was gone. I was a hater at first just because. Then I opened my ears.
Members GreatDane
I can relate to that. There was a little bit of "who's this guy?" Attitude, but he did really tasty stuff.
Members Kevman
I really appreciate his bluesier style of shreddd. One of 3 or 4 big time LA scene players that influenced my playing most for a long while. Lynch, DeMartini and of course EVH being the others. Members GreatDane
Pandora radio got me thinking about Ratt again. Killer swanky guitar fills and leads! Wasn't Lynch the runner up for Ozzy when jake got the nod? I'd love to hear that audition.
Members Kevman
I would like to have been a fly on the wall at those auditions for sure. Lynch and DeMartini had some killer tone happening too. Both sounded tone-wise better than Randy with his half cocked wah (love his tone but it wasnt the best out there IMO) tone. I am totally guilty of ffwd-ing to the solo of each tune on a dokken or ratt disc and then ffwd-ing to the next tune when the lead fades out. Lol. Outro solos ftw too. Members jpnyc
IIRC Lynch even played a few shows with Ozzy, but it just didn't work out. Which is probably good for Lynch, he has way too much personality to play second fiddle to Ozzy.

Members Bucksstudent
http://nostalgiamusicreviews.blogspot.com/2014/01/to-ozzy-naysayers.html It's unfortunate that Ozzy won't even mention Jake by name anymore. They should have made one more album together. Ultimate Sin was so, so, so good.
