Members BydoEmpire
I've been doing this kind of thing on and off, which I actually got from a Paul Gilbert lesson, but I thought this was a nice and focused variation. Play a bar or two of rhythm, then a bar or two of lead - basically trade 8s with yourself. It helps keep you focused on being aware of where you are, how you're going to start and end a phrase, and keep time. I thought this one was well-done, too:
Members pauldude
Thanks a bunch for this extremely cool video! This comes at just the right time for me. I need to hone my articulation on electric, since it's way behind what I can do on classical. I'll be doing this routine a LOT in the coming weeks. Members 1001gear
Mike Hermans is such a fine guitarist. His pedal demos a total standouts. I didn't know he had lessons going too. The web just got better.
