Moderators isaac42 Posted March 31, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 31, 2018 For the first time in a long time, I'm playing guitar again. I'm way out of practice, but I have a clue here and there. Anyway, I have this Digitech RP100A multieffects unit. I'd like to use it, rather than carry around several different effects boxes. Problem is that the installed presets tend toward the extreme. That may have been intentional, to show off what it can do, but I tend toward a more subtle sound. I prefer a bluesy overdriven sound to an over-the-top metal distortion. I realize that this means I need to make my own presets, but I'm lazy, and don't feel the need to re-invent the wheel. So, my question is this: has anyone used this unit or similar, and have any good settings to pass on? I understand that it's old, obsolete, and that there are far better units available now, but this is the one I have, so that's where I'll start.
