Members WRGKMC
Just because some talentless boob acts on a You Tube video doesn't mean it's worth viewing. I think some people are obsessed with being popular and to them, its more important they are seen and less important they look like a boob to others. There is a point where even a geeks can cringe on someone who lacks talent. If you skip to the end of the video where he's trying to squeak some notes out its actually worse then watching an 8 year old play smoke on the water for the first time. Its obvious he's never held a guitar in his hands before and he's much too old to play catch up. The guy is likely into video production and is addicted to the whole Saturday Night Live syndrome. Allot of kids are impressed with that persona but he should stick to selling products like Shamwow and leave the musical gear to pros who can demonstrate musical gear to musicians effectively and not try and up stage them by being a personality. Musicians deal with big egos on a daily basis and having one try to sell them something they know nothing about is a huge fail. Whoever built that pedal should take their advertising money and run. Playing performance and showing how a pedal can be utilized playing sells gear. They would do much better advertising on sites like this one then have some talentless boob make him a laughing stock. Phil O'Keefe
"Billy Cardigan - Rock Guitarist" I wonder if he's ever going to play something more rockin' than Mary Had A Little Lamb or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?
Members Mr.Grumpy
....Whoever built that pedal should take their advertising money and run. Yeah, that was weird because it's obviously a "pro quality" video production, apparently to sell this pedal to quasi-musicians. The clear, well-lighted and in focus close up of the pedal; the "penetration shot" of the guitar cable being plugged into the amp are telltales that this was shot and produced by pros....but they tried to keep the content 'amateurish' so it doesn't seem like a ten-minute commercial? I guess there may be a market for people that "play" effects pedals? "experimental/ambient" music? One of the hilariously bad pedal demos was about 7 or 8 years ago, a chubby kid of about 12 years old was demoing a cheap distortion pedal, through his bedroom practice amp. "This knob brings the screeech!" he said, describing the tone control.
