I have a boss GT-10 where channel 1 is clean, channel 2 is clean with effect, 3 is mild distortion, and 4 is heavy. For the 2 control buttons I have them set so they only stay on while your foot is holding it down (turns off automatically when you lift your foot off). In the past I tried to put delay on the control 2 button and make control 1 the tap tempo. Well I can set it at any tempo and when I turn on the delay on control 2 it is always the same, never changes to what I tapped on 1. I'm at a loss how to set a tap tempo. it's frustrating. I sometimes play in a worship band and I know it upsets the sound guy when I can't get the right delay and I just look like a moron who doesn't know how to use my gear.
