    thx for your insights...
    i'm tempted but also skeptical.
    the dry out sounds like a good idea, but in a stereo live situation when there are songs you don't use it, always bypassing the rest of your board and going direct to one amp, might not work well.
    this asks for a third amp which should be muted if the mel-9 is not used
    or true bypass looper complex wiring of some kind
    would be interesting how it sounds if it goes into the right side of a stereo-in delay, while the distorted/modulated other signal goes to the left input...

    could sound wonderful or create a big mess

      Or you could just run the MEL9 direct to the board and have it fed back into your monitors...

        ^yes but again the mixing channel needs to be muted once the mel9 is turned off... it makes a more complicated setup...

          True... but that would be true for any guitar synth or similar type of unit, wouldn't it?
