Members PrinceGeorge
Okay, so I have a TS9, Digitech Jamman (not xt), and a George Dennis wah+switch. I recently acquired the jamman, and it is fine when hooked up by itself and with the wah, but it creates a very loud ringing sound when with the tubescreamer. The ringing is similar to a microphonic tube, but not quite as pronounced. All the pedals are okay in any other combination, and the amp and guitar are fine, I've checked the cables, so I've narrowed it down to those two pedals. Any ideas as to what the problem is? Members goodhonk
Sounds like a power supply problem. Are you daisy chaining the power?
Members PrinceGeorge
Kind of. I'm using a joyo power supply that looks similar to the voodoo pedal power one (not the one that is like the dunlop brick). Ive looked up stuff and it says that it is not isolated . Members goodhonk
Yeah, not isolated. I would guess that is the problem.
Members PrinceGeorge
It works fine if the tubescreamer is used with a battery. Would it also fix it by powering the digitech with an adaptor? Thanks
