Members Wayne2
The built-in expression pedal on my Zoom G3X doesn't seem to do anything. I was able to confirm going through menus that it's linking to the Zoom and changing numbers, but I can't get it to do anything on the effects. I feel like I'm missing something incredibly obvious. I just want to try out a wah.
Members r0bo01
looks like the pedal has a footswitch (like my g9). in the presets section of manual, they say: "press down on the pedal to turn pedalvx on..." (hendrix preset-i5). try that?hell, if you just want to try, find one of their wah presets. http://www.zoom.co.jp/download.E_G3_G3X.pdfsee last page.good luck! Members Wayne2
Thanks. I went back and read the manual again and it seems to be working a little but I don't know. I expected it to be more dramatic. That's a good idea, trying the presets. I didn't like them at first and kind of forgot they were there.
Members r0bo01
i found that the crybaby wah on mine was just like your description until i (way) lowered gain on the drive i was using. it was like that with other drives also, especially the high gain ones.p.s. - got better tone in the bargain. i think a lot of zoom's non o.d. drives/distortions are super gain-y...
