Members liquidsmoke
Anybody know of an octave down pedal that will track only the lowest note of a chord? I've got a baritone tuned down to F# and I want root bass notes along with my heavily distorted power chords. Don't need the whole chord an octave down though which is what units like the POG do. I can run a clean signal into the octave and dirt after it for better tracking if need be.
Members RadioSilence
Hard to isolate single notes from a chord unless you have one of those guitars with a pickup for each string. You could try splitting the signal and sending one half through an EQ pedal and cutting all but the low frequencies then through the octave pedal? Members WRGKMC
Midi guitar is the only real option and even then its going to depend on how good that midi system is.

Will try it if I get one of these units.
Members Pewtershmit
I would sooner venture into bass pedals than midi. BASS PEDALSs

Members liquidsmoke
That's pretty cool although if you were to then play some high string stuff the effect wouldn't work without switching to another unit set differently. Members liquidsmoke
The option to set it to only do an octave down when playing higher strings would be nice.
Members eti
Of course it can do that.
