Phil O'Keefe
I'm not positive, but it looks like a Fender Classic series 50s Strat in Surf Green to me. A friend of mine has one that I helped him pick out when he first started playing. I like them a lot. They're still in production, and go for $799 "street." Phil O'Keefe
Oops... I take it back - I just rescanned the video and caught a glimpse of that big CBS-style headstock and logo. It's not a Classic 50s - sorry.

Phil O'Keefe
Surf Green is an awesome color. You could also opt to refinish a Strat you already have - ReRanch sells Surf Green nitro in spray cans.
Members goodhonk
yeah, that's what i need to do. it just looks like a lot of work and some guys say it's kind of dangerous without the proper safety gear.
Phil O'Keefe
Well, you don't want to breathe that stuff - especially in an enclosed area where it concentrates. You should use a respirator, or at least a decent mask, and avoid breathing it as much as possible. Doing it outside is always an option, but you risk dust and contamination that way. Still, it can work if the wind and conditions are right and you're careful. The stuff dries to the touch pretty fast, and you can wipe it down with naphtha and / or a tack cloth between coats to keep the contaminants at bay. Once it's painted, you can move it into the garage to dry for a couple of weeks before wet sanding and buffing it out. That's the most difficult / time-consuming and laborious part, but it's really not all THAT bad.
Members macadood
yea that strat is sweet. love the graphics on the looper too, considering getting one. but honestly they should have released this years ago, basic no frills looper is old news at this point
