Members brummy
So I used to be pretty heavily into effects, pedals, synths, etc. for my noise projects a few years ago, but I haven't made any of that kind of music in a while. I've sold all my pedals and not only have I not kept up with the scene, but I pretty much forgot just about everything I used to know about effects and pedals as well. My dad plays guitar, has been for most of his life, and he just asked me yesterday, knowing that I used to work with pedals, to recommend him one that would give his guitar a nice sustain. The only one I can think of right now/off the top of my head is the old Boss CS-3 Compression/Sustain, but I KNOW there are more out there. He wants something relatively inexpensive (under $150 used, preferably $100 or less used). He's not tech-savvy at all, and he doesn't really want something with a lot of bells and whistles; just a straight-forward sustain pedal. Any recommendations you all could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Members T ned
I've got a DOD MilkBox that won't be replaced. Ebay has 'em for less than $100, and you can prolly find one for closer to $50.
Members kidofthecorn
In my experience, for price and quality, the Guyatone St2 can't be beaten. Is small, transparent and sounds great. Haven't seen them on the bay lately, but they should be on your budget and eventually may appear one.
