I think I paid about $50-60 for my first Boss Slow Gear, but that was probably closer to 1979-80. Of course, dirt pedals have always been some of the least expensive pedals, relative to everything else. According to dollartimes.com : $1.00 in 1978 had the same buying power as $3.75 in 2014.
