I'd suggest you cough up a few more bucks for a Gibby LP Studio.

dang sorry, its way out of your price range. There was one cheapish gibby that i really liked, it was like 700 bucks all black...

You can get a melody maker for your price range, it looks like a lp but its not the same as an lp.

Yeah they have single coils. Just remembered the model, it was a LP special. I really liked it and it was really cheap. But they mother{censored}ers seemed to have discontinued it.

I think its better to save up, the casino is a great guitar, so just use that while saving up for a real gibby. You'll probably buy a copy like an epiphone, play it for like 6 months and then decide that you want a real gibson because the epiphone lp isnt doing it for you...

Get a Lawsuit guitar.

Hondo/samick made some really high quality Les Paul copies (and some really low quality)

The thing to look for is a set neck, and as close the actual Les Paul look as possible. Those ones are the highest quality ones. Hondos with bolt on necks aren't as good, but some of them can still be pretty cool.

I got the one in the front for 200 dollars, and it plays better than any POS Epiphone Les Paul I've played. (btw my nephew broke the pickguard off, and I took off the rhythm/lead toggle because I hate that)

To the back and the left of it is a thru neck Hondo that also plays really well. I got it for like 115.

Everybody who plays my Hondos falls in love with them.

another lawsuit line to consider...80s Ibanez.

I just purchased an Artist AR50 model, it's a direct shot to the LP DC model line. and man...these things are built bad ass. Super 70 PUps, binding, matching wood types of the old LP line...can't friggin beat it.

this one right here cost me $350 about 6 months ago. amazing quality for the money.

it's the one on the right
