Members gambit
i don't want to piss on the parade but the pipes.. yeah.. they sounded a lot like a guitar still. i mean, compared to others in the series that have blown me away. this doesn't. the background sounds and flanger sweep were really great though. Members gambit
i thought bagpipes were scottish. Uilleann pipes are different to what most people call bagpipes i think. but i think i'm right in saying bagpipes were brought to Scotland by the Irish. Members Chaos Realms
I usually hate it when bands state "no keyboards were used" like it's some great feat to be proud of, but these videos are the exception to the rule. At their heart, synthesizers are basically just extensive multi-fx processors. I wish EHX would start making some... Also, enough HOG and POG stuff already, let's see what you can do with a Flanger Hoax, Polychorus, Ring Thing etc.

Members Dr. Goldenglove
The background sounds were great, that drum sound was cool too.As fore the pipe sound itself - it was more of a guitar-sounding thing to me, but it definitely had something else going. But damn, even if it doesn't come close, that's one kickass lead tone!

Members baranger1
Thanks everybody for listening! I probably should have said it was a "guitar sound" inspired by the uilleann pipes sounds of by Davy Spillane. I was just knocked out by what the Spectral Gate did to the high end of the Big Muff. From nasty to sweet with a push of a button. Almost has a violinish tone to the sound as well. Thanks again. Bill Ruppert
