Members baranger1 Posted April 27, 2010 Author Members Share Posted April 27, 2010 Yes its interesting that piece was a fanfares written as a contribution to the war ll effort!Copland had the hippest gift of harmony.The parallel harmony stuff became that "Americana" classical sound.He has always been a hero of mine.He lived in NYC and taught a friend of mine up untill his death.BillI didn't know that was composed that recently.
