Phase 90 LED question...

So big thanks to those who responded to my earlier thread about replacing the switch in my phase 90. the part is ordered and on the way.

 

But since I have this thing open, I figured I might as well change the LED... Seems easy enough, except I don't know which leg is + and which is -. Can anyone tell me? heres a pic so you know what version I have.

Right, I knew that the long leg is + on new LED's, but I'm talking about which is which on the PCB...

 

 

feel for the flat edge.. that's the negative side.

 

it looks like the bottom on that pic.

The flat edge (negative/cathode/short leg) is closest to the switch. Take care when desoldering the old one (as well as the switch) - the holes are through-plated, so there's solder all the way through, and it's easy to damage the holes.
