Members onyxrhino
what are some of the stranger chorus, flanger, phaser pedals out there? the thing is, i've never really been in love with the sounds of any of these in the many pedals i've tried over the years, but i'm thinking that maybe a more extreme or bizarre version of these effects might suit me. so what's out there (and yeah, i've tried the Ibanez PM7 already)? Guest Guest
HBE Frostbite Flanger is pretty extreme. As is the EHX Polychorus.

Members onyxrhino
ehx flanger hoax, and the pefftronics rand-o-matic yeah, i've thought about both of these. the flanger hoax looks like loads of fun, but i'd like to find something i can fit on my board.if i could find a rand-o-matic, i'd totally go for it. i'm still kicking myself that i didn't buy the one i saw here in the spam thread months ago for a little more than $100. Pitch Pirate, in my experience, for sure. yeah, I've got a clari(not) and that pretty much takes care of my weird vibrato/wild pitch bending needs. Members kpd78
Guyatone Mighty Micro Chorus:mix control so it can be set 100% wet (vibrato),ranges from slow to REALLY fast,3 wave shapes (Sine, Triangle and Square)volume controlThe Sine wave mode is pretty standard, the Triangle mode is deep and wobbly, the Square wave mode is the weirdest; more of a rhythmic effect and almost has a tremolo vibe to it. Members onyxrhino
bump for night crowd. there's got to be more weird phasers, flangers, choruses out there. what about the Grand Orbiter? does it do anything wild?
Members ChuckNorris1982
Oldschool Pearl Flanger is the weirdest one I've ever had. Sounds like absolute {censored} at every setting and refuses to give you a 'normal' flange tone. It's just so extreme sounding it's literally useless unless you want oscillating siren noises. Members V
The Sonic Crayon Hollow earth is pretty neat/trippy: But they're kind of super hard to find. I do happen to have one, myself, though and I might be convinced to part with it if an appropriately cool offer was made.
