Members gambit
:poke: but seriously, how are they? the modulation seems to add WAY too much.. how tweakable is it.. i presume there's trim pots for modulation depth at least? is it chorus or vibrato modulation? Members TomCTC
its vibrato. I thought it was pretty nice when I played through it. I'd take it right behind a 616.

Members RoboPimp
yeah, the built quality is questionable but when they're working they sound good
Members IRG
I thought the modulation was adequate. I would have preferred a little more control over it, but for the $, tough to complain. Not a bad delay, not great, but pretty good value considering. Delay time on the one I had was considerably better than the DMM I once had. Members CiceroTJones
Loved mine. Really did... But I had the opportunity to trade it for a RE-20,which I then traded same day for a MINT Subdecay Echobox. Loved the toy, but the Echobox is nice too. Members Fool Evolved
I love mine, and with a slight adjustment to the trim pot it's hard to even tell if the modulation is there when accidentally kicking the switch

Members gambit
Cool clip! It sounds like it can get onto the edge of a really nice oscillation. Any more thoughts?

FWIW, I just bought a Way Huge Aqua-Puss and I've owned the EH memory toy for 3-4 months I returned the WH aqua-puss because it didn't have the longer delay times or the modulation If you don't like the modulation effect on the EH memory toy, just adjust the trim pot. there are many sites that explain how this is done Like i said, I am a WH fanboi (see my sig) but the aqua-puss was a big let-down IMO............................................... Members 2ndPosition
MOAR DELAY HYPEZ!! From what I can tell, they only save board estate. No different to any other delay IMO. never liked vibrato mod on my DMM, so don't see how this will change that.

Members Hurtzher
I have the Memory-Boy but I have not been using it since there is a volume boost when it's engaged. I tend to like delays that are more in the background. Does the Memory-Toy do the same thing?
Members stevemcb
I love the toy for edge-of-oscilation sounds. For standard analog delay sounds, I prefer my AD99. Both will end up on my board (along with a Headrush) when the toy comes off the boat from the UK. Steve

Members Webinfront_
I still dig my Memory Boy. Its not the be all end all of analog delays for sure, but it sounds nice and the crazier settings are fun and I always find new ways to use them. Members gambit
what's the volume boost about specifically? is the dry signal boosted, or is it just the volume of the delays giving it a perceived volume boost? how equal are the dry/wet volumes when set at 50/50 mix? If you back the blend towards the dry signal lower than about 11:00 the whole pedals signal gets boosted more and more the further toward dry you go....kind of annoying, but useful as a boost for solo's with delay I guess. Members Operator
How much are they going for used? I tried checking eBay but apparently that's only useful to check retail prices these days. I'm looking for a cheapy delay with modulation, since my keyboardist uses my RE-20.
