Thanks in advance... eBay always has the DIY Blues Driver (Boss BD-2) Keeley Phat Mod kits. I'm curious as to whether this is legit or a ripoff. It appears to just be a switch, some wires, caps, resistors, and an instruction sheet. Has anyone here done it? If so, what were the results? Are these things Keeley approved or an illegal knockoff? If it would actually improve performance, it seems like a cheap, fun, easy project, but I don't want to butcher a perfectly good stock pedal if it won't.
