    With the reverb-mania round here I thought I'd post this-,

    Looks large enough to have an actual spring inside. Can I KICK it???

          Compact it ain't, no. But I'm surprised at all the new crap they've got coming out. I dinnae know they had done away with the weirdly shaped boxes either.

              Exactly, if they're using a box that size for real springs, then that's fine. Now, if the "real springs" come from a microprocessor (which is fine too) the size is simply stupid and to lend it an air of credibility, much like those backlit tubes you see in some pedals.
