VIDEOS: Dubstep sounds with guitar and pedals. Did I get it?

When I used to cut original dubstep tracks with a local DJ in Asheville, the way we achieved that unique depth (that your sound is lacking) was to use two notes of the keyboard right next to each other simultaneously in the lowest register. The mixer would freak out and kind of bounce between the two competing vibrations, thereby creating that early dubstep "wobble" in the bass. Given, this was 2004 and I haven't listened to that horrible genre of music sense, so I may not be talking about something you're interested in.

Anyway, try that with a looper and see if it jostles your joe-hans.
