Members tom92
You're cruddy fender gig bag can fall apart and do the job for you for free. "FML"
Members IRG
Cool, you just increased the value of your guitar by $200. Or maybe not. Battle scars never look bad on a Fender for some reason. Time for a better case I guess.
Members tom92
Yeah the gig bag is pretty much destroyed now. The guitar ended up in the middle of the road but thankfully their were no on coming cars.
Members IRG
Where you on a bike or something? I would certainly cringe if my guitar ended up on the road, and I have a couple of "fake" relic guitars. I'm pretty sure Fender doesn't recommend driving over your guitar with a car for that look

Members Reauchambeau
I unintentionaly ran over a precision bass I use to own. I left rehearsal and met someone in the parking lot, leaned my bass against my truck, eventually drove away. I got about three blocks away and thought to myself, {censored}-where's my bass? at that very moment I remembered driving over something when I left the lot. drove back and there was my bass in a gig bag in the middle of the lot. I must have driven over the edge of the body because there was nothing wrong with it.

Members RUExp?
Nylon bags are good for keeping the rain off your guitar or so it doesn't get scratched up. They're not good for anything beyond that really.
