Members butterguitar
Ok guys, I have a Boss Super Chorus, and for the most part it sounds very good. However, I want it to get the thicker big tone (think Van Halen Balance era sound, Bullet Boys etc...) What is a good pedal? I tried the Boss PS-6 Harmonist, and for the most part it sounded great, but I feel like that it would be a waste for me, since I would not use the harmoizer in the pedal, only the detune. Any good recommendations guys?
Members Zappa74
Coolest chorus I can think of is the EQD Sea Machine. Not sure if it's what you're after, but it sounds badass [video=youtube;u_Ry1gwHouU]

Members TomCTC
Might sound sort of vain, but I absolutely adore the detune on the WH-1 Whammy. Leaps better than the WH-4!

Members zygoat
Analogman Mini Chorus is the {censored}. I like my TC Shaker too, there are a couple toneprints out there that tweaked the feedback parameter to sound more chorusy, great for that detune sound kinda like on the Whammy setting mentioned above. I also have a Whammy II and it's my favorite detune sound. When I started using it, it replaced all of my choruses on my board.
Members TomCTC
Why is that vain? Are you a Whammy WH-1? Ehhh, some people are all "ORIGINAL VS REISSUE, ONLY TGP CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE". And I agree for the pitch shifting, but the detune between the two are completely different beasts. Love that analog detuned gooeyness.
Members booher
Um, didn't Doug just post something about this sort of thing? And didn't he just come out with a really cool tape delay warbly thing?
