Members Demented Avenger
I have a bunch of EL 34's laying around. I no longer have an EL 34 amp, nor do I have a tester. Is there anyway to know if they still work?

Members SnorkelMonkey
If you don't have an amp for them why do you need to test them?

Members mhuxtable
Touch them to your tongue like a 9 volt battery. You wouldn't wanna plug them into an amp anyway without knowing if they're any good...could damage the amp. I don't think there's any way to test them....have a local tech who can test them? Members spentron
You can check with a meter that the heater is intact and no hard shorts. Otherwise you need something known to work.
