Members bieke Posted February 8, 2012 Members Share Posted February 8, 2012 nah, I bet those reissues are better players, the vintage Hollywood has the typical Framus quirks, mine has 2 pickups (different ones as the reissues) and a weird tremolo system, 2 of those toggle switches (one to switch pick-ups, the other one to select 4 different tone modes), and one volume control. Also, mine has the DIN plug of course, the crappiest tuners ever and a wafer thin body and it's a double cut, it could use a neck reset, but I only got it last week and like to see how it goes first. It does sound fantastic, really loud, treblier than a strat and ballsier than an LP, quite happy with the sound.
