Members Sandy Cheeks
Heard an interview with a coffee house owner in Maastricht, and they were planning to disregard the law.

Members Sandy Cheeks
They've still got sex tourism though. B-but the two go so well together! The Dutch are genius.
Members Sandy Cheeks
The Dutch are also objecting to the "weed pass" they'd have to apply for, in order to go into coffee houses. They're worried the data will leak out and be used against them, in employment, for example.
Members Pedaltones
I've read about 30% of tourists that go to Amsterdam visit the coffeeshops. Say a decline in tourism by 10% is enough to sting.
Members B.S.Jansen
There's a back door for a reason. You can also still grow your own consumption legally. So I'm not worried.
Members Califa
I think you're missing the point. Every year they say they'll ban weed in the following year and suddenly everyone knows where they're going on vacation this year.
Members orourke
I used to know a girl (a really pretty girl by the way) who was from Amsterdam. She told me that she loved the town but dealing with the tourists was a real drag. The place is a magnet for perverts and jerk offs who need to be baked all time. If other countries had sane drug and prostitution policies then all the creeps could stay home and not congregate in that nice old city.

Members big69
I'm going there in August. Don't really care about weed or prostitutes. I mean it will be nice to go and buy some pot at a cafe, but that's not what I'm there for.
Members Reaganomics!
frankly, you have to be a monumental idiot if you can't get a prostitute or weed without the government/small businesses rolling it out for you, even if it's illegal. Unless you go to a totalitarian place where you're getting tailed by an intelligence agent.
