Members munizfire
Hey guys! Seing as a lot of you mod/build pedals, would anyone care to take a look at my broken Phase 90? Maybe fix it for a reasonable charge (keep in mind I can buy a mint one for $40-45 )? Long story short, I tried to do the simple r28 mod, but I screwed up somewhere. It's not the first time I've modded a pedal, but I'm willing to say it's probably the messiest job yet. If you're willing to help me, Please let me know. I'll gladly ship you the PCB Thanks! Members munizfire
Yea.... I found out too late. I tried to remove the R28 by desoldering. Plus I always change the LED of pedals I mod
Members imbuedblue
Never try to remove a part by desoldering. If you need to replace a part, clip it out first and then desolder. But yeah, you're probably better off buying a new one instead of shipping it somewhere to get repaired.
Members munizfire
Shipping should be like $5 send/return. But oh well, at least it's a cheap pedal
Members dap99
I can't imagine anyone fixing the pedal for less than $20. Add shipping to that, and you're damn near the price of a new one. Get a new one and the. See if you can fix the old one yourself. If you're into modding, this is the best way to go as you can learn a lot from trouble shooting.
