  • Anyone care to take a look at my Broken Phase 90?

Hey guys! Seing as a lot of you mod/build pedals, would anyone care to take a look at my broken Phase 90? Maybe fix it for a reasonable charge (keep in mind I can buy a mint one for $40-45 )?

Long story short, I tried to do the simple r28 mod, but I screwed up somewhere. It's not the first time I've modded a pedal, but I'm willing to say it's probably the messiest job yet.

If you're willing to help me, Please let me know.
I'll gladly ship you the PCB

    Thanks!

Yea.... I found out too late.

I tried to remove the R28 by desoldering. Plus I always change the LED of pedals I mod

Never try to remove a part by desoldering. If you need to replace a part, clip it out first and then desolder.

But yeah, you're probably better off buying a new one instead of shipping it somewhere to get repaired.

Shipping should be like $5 send/return.

But oh well, at least it's a cheap pedal

I can't imagine anyone fixing the pedal for less than $20. Add shipping to that, and you're damn near the price of a new one. Get a new one and the. See if you can fix the old one yourself. If you're into modding, this is the best way to go as you can learn a lot from trouble shooting.

do you think they'll deal with a modded pedal?
