Members gambit Posted June 20, 2012 Members Share Posted June 20, 2012 my mini volume arrived today.. will give it a test and report back. it would have been nice to get the wah/volume combo but found this one relatively cheap, and i don't use wah much so went for it. first impressions: its amazingly small! and there's a thread on tgp about how to alter the sweep yourself by raising the height of one of the LEDs so its a more gradual sweep. so its easily tweakable. Members gambit Posted June 20, 2012 Members Share Posted June 20, 2012 ok, so just plugged it in for a quick test. the volume comes on way too fast, and at heel down there's some noise that isn't there with my normal signal. also a small amount of signal bleeds through at heel down - this seems pretty common so i assume a bit of calibration, as per the TGP thread, and it'll be fine. on the plus side, running through the mini volume vs bypassed-with-a-looper = no discernable tonal difference, unlike all the passive volume pedals i've tried.
