Klira were entry level Sperrholz (laminated wood) guitars

started in 1887 and stayed a family owned business until WWII, afterwards Klira rebuild a new factory together with Hofner, Klira stopped in 1984, but did try to make high quality guitars in the end (because budget guitar competition from the far east was unstoppable)

that guitar looks like a refin

most triumphators had vinyl or perloid covered bodies

similar models were the Brasilia and Ohio

yeah, there's always a bunch of Kliras on eBay Germany

they had some cool designs of their own and also made some funny looking copies of Teles, JM

the sound is that typical german 60s beat sound

dry, almost no sustain, sounds really good with fuzz though

the last Kliras were sort of custom shop ones, and their last production model was a high quality semiacoustic tenor guitar
