I had the BM, but the bypass I noticed significantly cut some highs, even with the tone/treble turned up. On its own, it was pretty decent though. But in a chain, I had to remove it. It's a completely new and different pedal. Runs on much higher internal voltage than the Bad Monkey. The bypass results in no loss of signal or frequencies. It's an underrated pedal.
