Members reverberlayed
Trade my Egnater Tweaker 15 head & cab for a Tweed US Peavey Classic 30. I like my amp's versatility but feel it is a "master of none." I feel like I'd miss the Vox tones most but then that gives me an excuse to pick up a Galileo
Members Aristotle
What exactly is the Peavey Classic 30 a master of exactly? Sounds like new amp is the same as old amp, plus you have to buy a pedal to compensate for something you'd lose. Your money I guess
Members juri
Volume, you are trading your amp with another amp that has way more volume and is probably going to have to be played louder to get it into it's sweet spot. Other then that I don't see anything wrong with that trade.
Members onyxrhino
if you really want Vox tones, you're going to want to get them from an amp, not a pedal
Members notjonahbutnoah
Hmmm, I would not do that trade unless I was struggling to keep up with my band at practice. Hell, even then I betcha the classic 30 isnt gonna be that much louder. More clean headroom though! Classic 30s are great amps, but yeah, a nicer, newer head and cab would trump that I reckon.
