Members Crxsh
10 team league. Live draft. Snake style. Commitment is a must and activity is strongly encouraged. NO DEADBEAT OWNERS. Total Starters: 9 (1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1FLEX, 1TE, 1DST, 1K) Total Bench: 4 (1 IR) To do: 1. Figure out who's in from last year 2. Offer up any vacated spots to new players 3. Set up draft time/details ...and maybe more. We'll see. Potential changes for this year: 1. 6 team playoffs rather than 4 (division winners get a bye) 2. Draft pick trading? Any takers? First things first
Members delayed delay
I think draft pick trading is a really cool idea, but I've never done it before. I mean... who wouldn't want to try and move up to take their favorite player right before he gets picked?
Members jhamnett
I'm cool with the pick trading. It's a good way to even things out in a keeper league.

I can change it, but we're not set up as a keeper league. At least not for this year. Even with minimal team turnover from year to year, I assumed everyone liked the 'fresh start' approach. Members delayed delay
The fresh start and draft is more than half the fun - keeper leagues are stupid.

Members redprince
How do you not have me set as "in" yet? Half the fun of any league is toppling the champion...and seeing as I was the champ...ok maybe I'm being a bit cocky, but my time is running out! The draft pick trading option is still on the table though. Originally Posted by claytonjohn18 Do you put money on it? Nope. Free league. Bragging rights only. Members redprince
Btw, I'm good with 6 team playoffs and trading. Fresh start and no money is the way I want it too.

Members macadood
12 team league would be ideal seems to the standard size for a big league, im sure crxsh has his reasons for keeping it at 10 though

Members Crxsh
Did a little research on 12-team rosters. Opinions are all over, but two options I sorta like (in order) are... 1. Dropping the Flex spot (1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1DST, 1K) 2. Dropping to 1 RB (1QB, 1RB, 2WR, 1FLEX, 1TE, 1DST, 1K) And having a 4-man bench + 1 IR seems to work in either model. I can see arguments for wanting to keep developmental players and handcuffs, but smaller benches help keep the waiver wire relevant. Which I like. Thoughts? Members autopilot
I find that you can get plenty of good rosters with a flex/te and 2 rb and 2 wr in 12/14 team leagues (of course it wont be star filled). But the key is the waiver wire. With today nfl most teams are running 2 or 3 rb tandems
