Members JCcares
I am in the market for a vocal harmonizer for live performance (as well as Studio if possible).I see a lot of them but unable to decide which would be best.A lower budget would be preferable but let me know the higher ranged ones too. Thanks

Members MrChrisos
I asked this here not long ago - we're going to order one of these: http://www.tc-helicon.com/products/voicelive-play/
Phil O'Keefe
I asked this here not long ago - we're going to order one of these:http://www.tc-helicon.com/products/voicelive-play/ If you're a guitarist, you might want to check out this one - similar, but it detects the pitch of the incoming guitar notes and chords to determine what intervals and notes to use for the harmony. http://www.tc-helicon.com/products/voicelive-play-gtx/
Members MrChrisos
Cheers Phil. It's for my girlfriend, who mainly plays piano (though sometimes guitar and uke) - do you think it'd work on ekys too?
Phil O'Keefe
Cheers Phil. It's for my girlfriend, who mainly plays piano (though sometimes guitar and uke) - do you think it'd work on keys too? I'm not sure... but a lot of those units have no problem working with a keyboard and generating the harmonies based on the incoming MIDI note data. Roland, Digitech, TC - several companies make voice processors with similar capabilities. Most of my interest for that kind of thing lies in software, but finding something suitable in hardware form that will work with keyboards shouldn't be too difficult. Here - browse this for some idea of the stuff that's available.
