What's the best of the cheapo pedals like Joyo, mooer etc.?

The Mooers are very good. I don't particularly like the pitch box (but me and fixed pitch shifters don't get on that well) or the Shimverb (verbs are decent but shimmer is a 5th not an octave so for that particular effect no good), but the Flex Boost booster, Black Secret (Rat/Turbo Rat), Ensemble King Chorus and Ana Echo DM2 clone are very good and the Trelicopter trem is phenomenal - juicy, warm, beautiful trem.

I've got the Joyo AC Tone and it's not too bad. I don't normally pay attention to overdrive pedals because amp overdrive is generally better. But still, the AC Tone is cheap and good which is a likeable combination. I might try their British pedlol.

The Mooer ElecLady flanger and Ensemble King chorus are pretty awesome. I have them and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a nice sounding analog flanger or chorus. thumb.gif

Oh sh#t!. They have an EQ and and some sort of Lo-Fi pedal coming out. I'd get those if they were available.

The Biyang time Machine is a good little delay, and I know the reverb is pretty cool. The Compress X was alright, but I didn't like it for what I do. I haven't tried the rat clone.

The Joyo crunch distortion stood side by side the crunch box, and the classic chorus sounded exactly like my CE-2. The Joyo's are well made, good sounding, budget pedals. The Mooer pitch box is also a really cool pedal, I am looking forward to trying a couple of the others.

Another +1 for Joyo and Mooer. Especially so with the 50% off code at marcmart. It will take upwards to 3 weeks to get the pedals, but for the price, it is an acceptable trade. Real metal cases, beefy switches.

Something else to consider if you prefer older pedals is the Guyatone micro series (not the newer Mighty Micro series). The FL3 is a great sound flanger, and the VT3 tremolo is killer. Both can be found used at reasonable prices.

The Mooer Pure Boost, is freaking awesome. It's great as a boost for single coil guitars, (our other guitarist uses it now with his tele, with the gain past noon, and it adds a lot of punch.) But with my casino and tele deluxe, I could get it to almost replicate my {censored} overdrive. A really versatile pedal, and I have the pure octave on the way as well, which I'd like to try. I'm also really curious about the echolizer. I'd like to have a mini analog delay, but the ana echo doesn't have enough time on tap. If the echolizer is close enough sounding to an analog delay, with oscillations and all, I'm jumpin' on dat.
