Members Reauchambeau
very underrated an awesome pedal, it needs to be first in the chain though, that's the only negative (if you consider that a negative) I can say about it. it's a warm thick overdrive bordering on fuzz, not really like any Big Muff
Members WeStartToDrift
It was one of the first pedals I ever bought... then someone stole it at my first gig. Lots of firsts with that one.
Members akapuli
I tried it and wasn't impressed, however I'm not fan of stacking fuzzes or distortions. If you like Muff and don't have any yet, it worth a try.
Members JRBain
An old favourite of mine. It's really loud and gainy (produces controllable feedback very easily), and it's somewhere between fuzz and overdrive. When it was on my board (at present it isn't because I don't need it) I used it as my lead pedal; stacked with an OD (in my case SD-1) it's fairly Gilmouresque. It does other sounds as well, but that's what I've always preferred it for. For what it costs or otherwise, it's a really great pedal. It doesn't like buffers, though. Members jhamnett
Awesome loud and rude fuzz when using it in cascaded mode... but definitely has to be first in chain. Does not play well with other pedals.
Members Sovtek50
I used this pedal for a long time. I still have it, but I use other pedals for my dirt now. I'll have to revisit this pedal soon. I remember not liking it much in single mode, but thinking it was fantastic in double mode.
Members Ming Chow
I really like mine. Those who have one, maybe you can help. In Single mode, does the tone change when adjusting the Double mode volume? Mine does and I found that in Single mode with Double's volume
Members Sovtek50
I have not noticed this, but I'll check it out. I usually find single mode to be rather dark, so I'd like to be able to change the tone.
Members bluehuricane
it'd be cool to put one in a strat with a dual concentric pot for muff 1 and 2 and a 3 way switch for 1/2/off
Members mr benn
sounded more like a turbo rat than a muff to me...

It's pretty versatile, but not a particularly smooth sounding dirt. I probably wouldn't use it to play rhythm bar chords unless I wanted to sound garage. I rather meant Muff-'style', but we agree on this subject. It sounds quite close to the old Russian versions IMHO.
Members theboywho
As people have already said it's more of a distortion/OD than Fuzz, but is worth a try. It was the first dirt pedal I had, I modded it so the 1/2 switch was a pedal, then it got stolen. Got one of the nanos recently, from what I remember it's pretty similar. Members WildBilly
My go to. I had a regular big box and traded it, then a few months ago bought a JHS modded one and love it as a rolled back volume od/full volume controlled mess. I won't be swayed by $200 od pedals until I am HiwattBob level in the sales game
