Members gambit Posted November 25, 2012 Members Share Posted November 25, 2012 that's better than the funk demo's at least. but made me think that EHX missed a trick on putting a comp/limiter on the effected freeze sound to avoid the variations in signal coming into the pedal. because that's the one thing that needs more control especially if it's constantly tracking. To make the sustained sound a consistent volume? Couldn't that be controlled by the player and how they attack the strings the moment they hit the switch? Seems like a royal pain in the ass pedal to use though. No thanks. And that could even be great with bassoon (monophonic instrument becomes polyphonic!) but it just seems like such a pain. Freeze and Hold on the HOG was close, and this is a better implementation, but seems a bit unpredictable.
