                Actually, it was recorded at Criteria Studios in Miami. Produced and engineered by the late, great Tom Dowd.

                                That it was. Guitar World put out a special edition issue just about Clapton that had old interviews with him and various articles on his career. There is a fantastic article on the Derek and the Dominos-era that goes really in depth into the recording of the album, if you can find it check it out. Clapton and Allman were constantly swapping guitars back and forth during the sessions.
