The Maxon OD808 is very good, but it cuts a lot of bass. The Green Rhino does a great job and keeps the bass tight.

4 years ago you would of got almost completely boutique suggestions

I have an Analogman Tubescreamer that I've had for 5 or so years, I would recommend it pretty highly! I like it better than the Keeley ones, and the Maxon OD808.
          Great deals w/ placebo62, candletears7

M I Audio Blue Boy Deluxe. Silly name. Non-silly sound. JRC4558. Dial out the mid-hump if you so desire. Buck-and-a-half or less.

Bad Monkey is ok, I really miss my TS 10 which was the first pedal I ever bought, but sadly got lost along the way.

byoc screamer (now called OD or something) is awesome. comes with several clipping options, which you could even wire to a switch if you wanted. i believe i chose to put led clipping in there.

i have one im not using actually. PM me if interested.
great deals with Urinate Forever and stratedge09

                      TS9 DX is amazing!

Complete absence of fecalia. Put boost in modes 3 or Turbo. I use the one on a Marshall BB2.

not really the same beast imo, I had a bad monkey, it was great for the price, but not the same as a ts

i read only positive reviews of that pedal and purchased one. was too boomy for me, i definitely prefer the standard 808/9 pedals.

I can see that. It sounded really good through my AC4 through a 1x12 half back cab.

when i had mine i kept trying to dial it in to sound like my ts9.
