Members hrcnsfan
...and am not as happy. The Timmy sounds a bit flabby...farty, kinda. Know what I mean? The Tim was always so smooth sounding but being as I had gone to a PT mini I wanted to save some space and thought the Timmy would be the way to go (since I rarely used the boost). Just not feeling it. (Bought both new, by the way.) Anybody else made this switch encountered the same?
Members Frankenstrat86
Hmmm from my understanding the Timmy is the Tim with the boost on, so maybe the extra your getting at once isn't pleasant to your ear. Has no amount of tweaking helped?
Members HP Hovercraft
You could try a different chip. The lm1458 chip is supposed to be smoother.
Members driverhasabomb
I'm thinking about going back to a Timmy from the Tim. I just never use the boost.

Members IRG
Similar but not the same, you might want to also check out the Walrus Mayflower. Small like the Timmy, same configuration too. Love mine.
