Members caeman
Learn to play right-handed? If a drummer can learn to play bass, fiddle and harmonica...anything is possible.
Members Trick Fall
I've gotten some good deals over the years buying lefties and the Internet has made finding a left handed guitar much easier. My only real gripe these days is that I wish fender would do some cheap lefty offsets. I'd like a jazzmaster, but don't want to spring for an American made one. Members MrChrisos
I'm a lefty that has always played right-handed, I always thought most of the intricate work happens on the fretboard anyway. I found a great fix for left-handed writing issues though - I've been writing any notes backwards for years now. Not that there's much need for pen and paper any more... Like do a batch of squire jazzmasters, then next quarter do a batch of jaguars and so on. I mean I've already got strats and teles dont they want more of my money? Members Lanefair
Id buy a lefty fat strat if they made one. I love that pretty much no one can borrow or play my guitar at gigs.

Members Dr.Picklebottom
'pointy guitar' spelled backwards is 'ratiug ytniop'. if transposed those letters would allow one to spell 'payout tiring'. why is the price being lowered? the higher price was only ever an illusion. Members Holy Schnikes
I'm a lefty when it comes to writing/drawing/eating/etc. Luckily, however, I'm a righty when it comes to playing guitar. Amazing how bad the left-handed players get {censored} on by most every guitar manufacturer big and small alike. My condolences.
Members notjonahbutnoah
I write/eat/solder with my left hand, but play guitar/bowl/throw things right handed. If I were Beerfest, my left arm would be the Jewish guy and my right would be Farva. They fight sometimes. Heh, and that guitar... oh that guitar. I bet it plays nice and I like the volute, but that's all I can say.

My teacher always said it was worth it and you'd be able to go anywhere and pick up a guitar and play.
Members houseofglass21
I tried playing right handed when I first started and I absolutely couldn't do it. It felt completely unnatural. People say that it's make more sense to have your strongest hand as the fret hand. I think it's better the other way around. Picking is a much more involved thing than fretting notes. Members t_e_l_e
its somehow sad, that there are no "budget" lefties.yes there are a lot of strats and teles, MIM, MIA, MIJ from low budget to custom shop, but once you settled with tele and strat need there is not much choice left over ok there are some nice les pauls, also on the used market with "reasonable" pricesbut than gibson becomes horrible expensive, if you look at semi hollows you might get a 335but damn i would love a midtown custom, but no lefties made.yeah epiphone makes nice semi's but as lefty you only get a dot or a sheraton2yes gretsch is making now some more lefties and prs too, but the desirable models are pricyeastwood is making some models as lefty, but none of them have a bigsbydon't let me start to talk about colors available for lefties, i don't like all my guitars being black... Members leftyaxeman
It's tough finding a quality axe as a lefty, the internet has made it easier though, hope you can snag it one of these days. I just received my "holy grail axe" as a gift. Good luck.
