My favorite that I've been to was Flaming Lips at Amoeba for the Yoshimi release party. I found some video, but it's crappy. It was also one of those "you had to be there" things. Wayne talks a lot. Like, a lot.

Man both of those are awesome, I caught BRMC at Park Ave CDs in Orlando, they were pretty awesome. Right after Howl came out and they did a super long cover of Hattie Carroll by Dylan

This is one of Simply Saucer's only recordings, a mall in Canada circa 1976.

They also had songs with theremin and oscillated delay. ****************in' a.

Dude, why don't video links work half the time? The rawkplosion of Simply Saucer demands it.

We played in a record store in Dayton last month. Got thrown on the bill last minute because we were in town recording (got buddies with a studio that give us a killer deal over there) That's the only show I can think of that I've been to that was in a store.

As for big bands, I dunno. I didn't know this was a thing. Is it a thing?

Not in a store, but I saw Jack White play a show last summer that was announced an hour before. Luckily it was close to my place. Only about 50 people showed up.

Saw Robert Fripp do his Frippertronics double reel to reel thing at a Peaches record store in the late 70's. Fascinating.
