what are your recommendations?

Check out "Ataxia"

it's John F, Klinghoffer and Joe Lally from Fugazi. They put out 2 albums. It's mellow, driving at night kind of music. It's decent. Check it out.

Big fan, all his albums have something different going for them.

-Niandra LaDes... (A Lo-Fi look into Madness; acoustic Syd Barrett-esque more avant-garde)

-Smile from the Streets... (see 'Niandra LaDes' + more heroin)

-To Record Only Water... (Synthy and somewhat melancholic; New Wave-y) (personal favorite)

-Shadows Collide... (Attempt at a solid, true "pop" album in the vein of Eno's early ones)

-The Will to Death/DC EP (Very organic, low-key, comforting music)

-Curtains (Acoustic w/ studio pressence, Cat Stevens during withdrawals)

-The Empyrean (Psychedelic, prog? Has some wonderful moments, but overall I don't think it gets where it wants to be)

-PBX/Letur-Lefur (Somewhat similar to his older work, but the rhythm section

gets an overhall and leans more towards Aphex Twin and other WARP! artists)

There's a few I didn't cover, like Ataxia which is {censored}ing rad too, but I got the main one's I think.

*note these are just general overviews
