Elusive on/on/on DPDT? (center on)

So I was trying to buy an on/on/on (center on) switch for this thing I'm building:

When the switch arrived I noticed it had this peculiar (to me) switching scheme.

I then started scouring ebay and such for a dpdt switch, but it seems like all the ones are set up like this (for a guitar pickup setup).

Does anyone know if a 'real' DPDT on/on/on exists? (as in, when in center position, each center pin is connected to BOTH of its outer pins).

I tried figuring out a way but couldn't think of one

What I'm doing is having two input sources, one on 1 and one on 3, and those go to 2 either individually or together. The other side is going to be turning the electronic instrument on or off(cutting power).

The on/on/on would do that perfectly as the battery would be connected always except only when the acoustic instrument is running.

Just got a few for doing series/split/parallel switches on my 4-conductor humbuckers.
Those are the same wiring as those above, not really suitable for trying to do signal AND power routing on the same switch.
