They are still ironing out the bugs, but it is working a lot better than it did. Although I can't activate my old account e-mail and I'm waiting for one of the HC team to get around to solving the issue.

Hey Kevin--I'll just throw this out there...

Are you sure you need to reset your password every time?  Because the developers have put a HUGE button that says "Reset your password" on the announcements section, even though you're already logged in.  That doesn't go away.

I still see it on the welcome page:

yes.

one would think a savvy software jock would code it so that box would only come up DYNAMICALLY if the datestamp of the login/user's password entry was not newer than the rollout datestamp.

of course, that might necessitate hiring savvy software jocks.
