Members Turd Furgison
with the majority of the world's focus on capturing antiquated sounds using our grandfathers' technology, i would like to take a moment and hear to your stories of great tone from digital distortion boxs. in the future people will discuss on great length (at least 5.5) the virtues of cosm and how modern technology can't quite capture that certain something that is brought us in the early aughts. so lay it on me, which people should i pick up now for $53 so that in the future i can sell it and retire to the caymans...trailer park and above ground pool/waterpark outside of reno. Members BrentMpls
A true digital bitcrusher produces sounds pretty unique to anything analog. Not for $50 bucks though.
Members Lou Speed's Alt
I always thought that Boss Digital Metalizer thing seemed interesting (mostly because of the name. I've never heard one.) I guess the actual distortion circuit is analog though. Hope this helps.

Members willy-b
well, it's analog, but there was the Mutant Strain H2SO4, that was definitely not 'your grandfathers fuzbox' by a longshot

Members Fender&EHX4ever
I haven't used any digital distortions, unless you count some of the settings on the Digitech Space Station. Those are pretty cool.
Members BAXANDALL
I've had fun with the early Zoom 505 from the 90's but most people hate it.
